Our Team
At Attention Therapy we understand ADHD
Authentic
We are here to provide a non-judgmental and helpful space for real growth. Sometimes ADHD can feel like you’re heading towards a train wreck, and you see the warning signs but need help putting on the brakes. We can help you learn to slow down, navigate, and take a different path that’s equally creative and exciting without the collateral damage.
Evidence-Based
We aren’t here to waste your time and money. Our expertise working with ADHD draws on practice wisdom and insight-oriented counseling as well as evidence based modalities such as Executive Functioning Skills Training / Coaching, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and mindfulness that are integrated into our individualized approach.
Holistic
We want to help you understand how ADHD and distracted living impacts your everyday life. Therapy is an opportunity to explore the whole you to live a more empowered and meaningful life. Finding and maintaining a routine to exercise, diet, and sleep are just some lifestyle changes to better manage ADHD and address distracted living.
Rachel Fryman, PhD LCSW
I work with creative, passionate people who are struggling with the toll ADHD and distracted living is taking on their personal and professional lives. I am truly inspired by the way that my clients approach life, and see the hour that we work together as a chance to slow down, and make the rest of the week a bit calmer and more organized.
My therapy style is supportive and practical. Together we’ll explore the ups and downs, including what might be getting in the way of better relationships, academic achievement, job performance, and overall well-being.
I deeply care about your happiness and with a sense of humor and insight, will support you in this process of self-discovery while identifying with you practical strategies to live the life you so desire and deserve.

For over 35 years I have specialized in working with college students and young professionals around their adult diagnosis of ADHD. I offer a safe and non-judgmental environment to explore the strengths and obstacles that can impact goals and aspirations at school, work, and in relationships.
As a couples therapist, I provide a safe space to strengthen bonds, resolve conflict, and to feel more empowered in your relationship. I am here to help couples managing infertility, navigating adoption, and parenting children with ADHD and co-existing conditions.
My therapeutic approach is holistic and my focus is helping individuals make sense of the struggles and disappointments throughout the life cycle. For those transitioning from home to college, career to retirement or managing the experience of divorce, the support and guidance provided in therapy can ease the anxiety and challenges of those transitions.
Together we can develop the strategies and solutions for healing.
