Imagine your life is a filing cabinet with different files for each area: work, friends, family, faith, and hobbies.
Now imagine that someone keeps emptying your filing cabinet into piles on the floor. You kind of know where everything is, but it’s a lot more work to find what you’re looking for, so you procrastinate doing things, everything takes more time, and sometimes you make mistakes because, well, everything is in a pile. This is what ADHD is like.
At Attention Therapy, we work together to find personalized systems to keep your filing cabinet organized, and give you the tools and support to pick up the papers with confidence and resilience. And when it gets messy, we’re here to help.

You’re likely here because life has become unmanageable. The expectation to juggle the demands of your professional and personal life in a way that doesn’t come naturally can make it feel like you’re constantly coming up short. Feeling like you’re not living up to your potential can lead to low self-esteem, depression, anxiety and a long list of symptoms that take the joy out of life. The trauma of living with misdiagnosed or undiagnosed ADHD is enormous, as is living with too much on your plate and a desire to be more in control of your time.
The good news is that you don’t need to be good at everything. At Attention Therapy, we’re confident that you have unique strengths that we can capitalize on to help you find a sense of calm, purpose, and meaning that you desire.
Together we’ll work to:
Identify challenges such as organization, time management, and distractions getting in the way of your success
Learn about ADHD and coexisting conditions such as learning difficulties, anxiety, depression, and addiction that get in the way of feeling your best
Identify strength-based strategies to navigate challenges with more ease and confidence

The drive to stay constantly connected can be the very thing that keeps us from authentic connection in our relationships. In a world where distraction is commonplace, adding an ADHD diagnosis can present even more challenges. Many of the symptoms of ADHD can be interpreted as being a bad partner, which is where psycho-education and tools for improved communication are helpful. By owning the role of ADHD in your relationship, you can figure out what priorities are negotiable so you can have a more joyful, respectful, and authentic connection.
Together we’ll work to:
Understand the role ADHD plays in your relationship
Improve your communication and intimacy
Strategize for how to compensate for challenges in adulting, co-parenting, and retirement
Build a game plan with your partner so that you can anticipate future challenges
